Healthcare firms have been known to publish protected healthcare information online. Online publishing can be a violation of HIPAA in certain circumstances. Publishing unidentified patient data online is a breach of privacy. This can be intentional or accidental. Healthcare professionals should avoid sharing sensitive information online.
